Previous Events:

4th Annual Barbara A. Fiorillo Memorial Bike Run/Picnic & Raffle

Despite forcasted inclement weather, the Bike Run & Picnic was another fundraising success.   The event was held on July 11, 2009 and we have again been named the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation's #1 Donator bringing our total to $47,145.00.  Once again this year, we could not have been as successful in our journey to finding a cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis without our ever-so-important sponsors, Primanti Bros. (Pleasant Hills), Outback Steakhouse (North Hills), CalComp Nutrition, Parkview Community Federal Credit Union, Seven Springs, Styles By Santone, and Z&M Cycles.

3rd Annual Barbara A. Fiorillo Memorial Bike Run/Picnic & Raffle

Another wonderful turnout at the event which was held on July 5, 2008.  A holiday weekend did not prevent the crowd from coming out and enjoying a beautiful day!  We raised another HUGE amount bringing our total, to-date, to $34,794 in the name of Barbara A. Fiorillo!  We can't thank our sponsors, loyal attendees and riders for all your support over the years!  We look forward to seeing you again this year!

2nd Annual Barbara A. Fiorillo Memorial
Bike Run/Picnic & Raffle

This event was held on June 30, 2007 and was a HUGE success!!  Not only did we raise a substantial amount of money for the foundation but the turnout was superb!   And we had a celebrity guest appearance by the granddaughter of Daredevil Evel Kneival, who suffered from Pulmonary Fibrosis and eventually passed away from it later in the year, on November 30, 2007.  Thank you to all who participated!!!

1st Annual Barbara A. Fiorillo Memorial
Bike Run/Picnic & Raffle

The 1st Annual Memorial Bike Run/Picnic and Raffle was held on July 23, 2006 and was a success for the Fund as well as for Pulmonary Fibrosis Research Foundation.  The ticket which "won" the Bike raffle was not sold, so the profits went to the benefit which gave us the funds necessary to start the official Barbara A. Fiorillo Memorial Fund with the Pulmonary Fibrosis Research Foundation.  It was a sad year for this fundraising event, it being only 7 months since Babs' passing, but there was some peace in knowing that her memory would live on forever.
